4th Grade Performance Task : All 4th grade students will participate in a performance task on Wednesday, March 11th. The purpose of the Wake County mandated performance task is to assess our students’ abilities to think critically, solve problems, and communicate clearly when given. Students will be asked to read a realistic problem/solution, analyze the information and provide a written response to address the situation or problem. More details are included in a letter that is coming home Monday, March 2nd. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

  1. What does the PTA do for the school?

The PTA works with parents and faculty to organize and facilitate events both during and after school hours that serve to enrich our children's educational experiences and build a stronger community.

  1. Why should I serve on the PTA board/committee?
  • Your child feels a sense of pride to know that his/her parent holds an office.
  • You get to meet and work with wonderful people!
  • You stay updated and informed on what is going on at our school.
  • You can more effectively suggest change at our school.
  • Everyone has different strengths and talents. Everyone has something unique to offer our school and our children!
  1. Can I  work full time?

Yes! Many of our members hold a full or part time job.

Hunter PTA cannot succeed without the help from YOU! No efforts are too small. We know you are busy with the work/life balance, and we value your time. Use the electronic Google Form  2020-2021 PTA Nomination Google Form or Nominations forms (PTA Nomination Form 2020-2021) are due to Jenn Birch ( by ASAP. Thanks!

The top 200 nominations with the most votes will be reviewed after voting closes on March 15, 2020. Then 10 will be selected for the prizes.
