Marbles Family Science Club: Do you like to experiment? Do you enjoy building, making things and playing around with science? Join the FREE Marbles Family Science Club, a program for 3rd graders and their families. Participants take part in monthly hands-on science learning and special events at Marbles and in the community. More information can be found at the following link.
Fourth and Fifth Grade Families!: We're excited to announce the beginning of HUNTER’S DRAMA CLUB! Drama Club is an after school club offered to all 4th and 5th grade students that have a passion for the dramatics! GOTR registration is open at Hunter!The Team is filling up FAST! Register online now to sign your 3rd-5th grade girl for our Hunter Magnet Elementary Girls on the Run team. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:15 p.m. 10-week fall season, Sept. 24 to Dec. 12. The 5K is Sat., Dec. 14. Morning Clubs: Morning Activity Clubs start Sept. 9th. Meet by the gym. Time: 8:30a-9:00a. Must complete the waiver located on the website https://www.wcpss.net/Page/40072.

Art Club: Does your student love to be creative? Does your student love to make their own artwork?…Does your student express themselves through creating? Coffee & Kleenex: Attention all caregivers & parents of kindergartners, after you drop off your student, please join the PTA and School Staff at 8:45a on Tues., Sept. 3rd, in the Courtyard to celebrate this milestone for your new kindergartner!
PTA School-wide Playdate: Come join Hunter Parents and Students for a gathering on the playground. Meet new friends and connect with other parents. Sat., Sept. 7th , 10a-12p at Lions Park (rain date TBD)
Teacher Appreciation: Throughout the school year, we will be highlighting members of our amazing staff each month. On Tuesday, Sept. 10th, we will celebrate our main classroom teachers who diligently and tirelessness dedicate their time to our children. Please have your child send a note of gratitude that day to their homeroom teacher.

Chess Club: Chess Club is ready to start a new year of having fun, learning and playing lots of chess! Our first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 3:45 to 4:45 pm. If you would like to register for this year's chess club, please fill out our registration form (http://bit.ly/HunterChess2019) and submit Chess Club dues to the front desk in the Hunter main office no later than Sept. 20th. Hunter Foundation: Support the Hunter Foundation: Celebrate First Friday on Friday, Sept. 6, and support the Hunter Foundation at the same time! All beverage proceeds from the First Friday Market at The Raleigh Times/Morning Times on Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh will go to the Hunter Foundation, our school’s nonprofit organization that supports Hunter staff. The market runs from 6-9 p.m.
Radical Readers: The celebration for our Radical Readers will be in the Media Center on Friday, September 27th. Print forms here. Or pick one up in the office where the PTA forms are stored.
