Arts in Action Returns to Green

Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary is very fortunate to partner with Arts in Action (NCAIA) again this year for another wonderful art residency.   Last year’s 4th graders were treated to a 5 -day residency ending with an engaging performance from around the world.   This year the 4th grade classes are participating in an 8-week residency culminating in a full production of singing, dancing and costumes revolving around the American Revolution.

Ms. Suzi and Ms. Sue meet with the classes two times per week for an hour to stretch, leap, dance, sing and chant around the multi-purpose room.  Students Begin With The End In Mind and Synergize as they prepare to put all of the critical class parts together to create the 4th grade production.

Arts in Action began over 12 years ago and has served upwards of 6,000 students during its tenure.  Teachers and students alike are excited to present their learning to audiences in mid-November.  Be on the look out for dates and times.
