Fuller Students Exemplify Service

In honor of National Volunteer Week, Fuller Elementary students engaged in a variety of service activities.  Students in grades 3-5 wrote letters of gratitude to active and military veterans in our State, and these were delivered by Wes Kyatt from the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs who visited Fuller on April 18th to meet some of the letter-writers and express the appreciation of his organization.  K-2 students volunteered to create cheerful placemats for Meals on Wheels, and these were shared with the organization for distribution to seniors in connection with the mission of that organization to address senior isolation and hunger.  We are so proud of our Fuller community of helpers!
