Week of February 21-25, 2022

 

Dear Explorer Families,

Hooray for our students in our Explorer Encore Chorus group!  This week they travel for their dress rehearsal for their Pieces of Gold performance! Below is information for our Encore Parents:

• Students will depart campus on February 23rd at 2:30pm by bus and will arrive at Leroy Martin Magnet Middle School. Students will need to be picked up at Martin Middle School by 4:00pm. Please join the Remind group that Ms. Peters has set up, so that you can be informed of any delays, etc.  

 

Sat. 2/26 11:00-2:00pm at Leroy Martin Middle School 

•  Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at Leroy Martin Magnet Middle School 

  

Tues. 3/1 1:00-4:00pm at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium 

• Bus picks up students at EGES at 1:00pm and parents must pick up students by 4:00pm at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium 

  

Wed. 3/2 Performance Night at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium 6:00pm 

•  Students will arrive at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium by 6:00pm in their costumes. Parents will need to attend the show and leave with their students at the end; everything should be finished by 9.

We continue our School Wide Attendance Focus

The data is in!  We focused on increasing attendance in January and February and our data is showing that our collective efforts work.  More students came on time and stayed present during the school day! 

 

This Week:

February 21:  No School- Teacher Workday

 

Upcoming Dates:

March 4:  Last day of school before Track Out

March 7-18:  Spring Break:  All Students Tracked Out
