Good morning Explorers,

Happy Track In Day!  I hope that you had a restful track out and are ready to be back in school.  :) We only have 9 weeks left of school and they will FLY by!

Kudos:  To our Specialists and our students who participated in Clubs the last week of school prior to track out. Our students had a blast learning soccer skills, working in the school garden, printing making in art club, dancing in music, coding robots in technology and being reading role models to younger students in the media club!  It was an outstanding effort by our Specialists Team!

Check out our new plants and flowers at the front access EGES sign!  Also, check out our new 50 azaleas from the WRAL Azleala Grant that we won this school year, courtesy of Mr. Elmore’s grant writing!  Also, EGES was awarded another $2000.00 grant to add onto our School Garden from the Whole Kids Foundation!! Whoop!! Whoop!!

2019-20 School Intent Form:  A letter will be coming home for you to update your intentions for school attendance in the new academic year.  If you are awaiting a transfer or have any questions about the process, please contact Ms. Santiago. If you plan on registering a student or have a rising Kindergarten student, please let us know right away so that we can get you on the student roster.  You can call 919-773-7411, ext. 25561 to speak with Ms. Santiago regarding registration and the transfer process.

Panorama Survey:  The WCPSS Family Engagement Survey will take place between March 25th and May 3rd.  Our district has teamed with Panorama Education to administer this survey. Parents will receive an email notification from Panorama Education that includes a link to the survey.  The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please consider participating in the survey as it provides great information for our school!
