SRMHS Parent News- Week October 29

Hello SRMHS Bulldog Families-

Please see the following for school news and information.

School HoursPlease remember that students should be in class, ready to engage in instruction, no later than 7:25AM each morning.  We noticed an increase in tardiness over the past few weeks.  Our dismissal process begins each day at 2:30PM.  In order to prepare for a safe and orderly dismissal, we ask that any early check-outs take place prior to 2:00PM.  Research shows a strong correlation between school attendance and student achievement.  Thank you for making sure your child is at school unless they are sick.  If you have any questions about school attendance, please contact Ms. Dodds (Attendance Clerk) or Mr. Miller (Asst. Principal).

Please remember to regularly review our SRMHS school website for updates and the latest school information at  AND you can also sign-up on REMIND to get daily school news and information.  Please see the attachment for directions. SRMHS Daily Announcements Remind (1).pdf

School bond referendum on November ballot

Wake County continues to grow at a rate of more than 60 people per day. The Wake County Commissioners and Wake County School Board worked together to create a plan to build new schools, renovate old schools, upgrade security, and improve technology. A question will appear on the November 6 ballot asking voters to approve the sale of $548 million in General Obligation Bonds to fund that plan. Learn more at
