Dates:

• Monday, November 12= “A-Day”

• Friday, November 15= “On-Point Day”

• November 27th-29th= Thanksgiving Break

• Friday, December 20th= Last day of 1st semester

• December 23- January 6, 2025= Winter/Holiday Break

Academics

• “On-Point”day will be 11/15. 

  • On-Point Days are Student Check Points for missing work. Once students are notified of missing work from Interim Reports, they will have until this date to complete work from that report up to 70%. After this date,  PLCs will decide how many points will be deducted daily after the On-Point day. 

 

• Mandatory Tutoring/Enrichment sessions for Math 1, Math 3, & Biology. Check with your student’s teacher if they are taking any of these courses.

Senior Exam Exemption Agreement

 Students in Grade 12 may be exempt from exams based on the following criteria:

·       Students must have a projected final grade of B or higher

·       Students must have 10 or fewer absences in the course.

·       Students cannot be exempt from state testing, including field testing.

The principal (consistent with GS 115C-288) has final authority to determine a student's exemption status

23 de diciembre - 6 de enero de 2025 = Vacaciones de invierno

 

Académicos:

El “Día de Enfoque” será el 15/11. 

Los Días de Enfoque son puntos de control para los estudiantes en relación a trabajos pendientes. Una vez que los estudiantes reciban los informes intermedios notificando trabajos pendientes, tendrán hasta esta fecha para completar esos trabajos hasta un 70%. Después de esta fecha, los PLCs decidirán cuántos puntos se descontarán diariamente tras el Día de Enfoque.

Sesiones obligatorias de tutoría/enriquecimiento para Matemáticas 1, Matemáticas 3 y Biología. Consulte con el maestro de su estudiante si está cursando alguna de estas materias.
