FVHS Weekly Principal's Message 12/21/22
Hello Bengal Nation! – Here’s this week’s news and updates from YOUR Fuquay-Varina High School.
Congratulations and Shout-Outs!
Special Olympics at FVHS - 2022 Back to School for Inclusion. 9 local schools competed in the first ever Back to School for Inclusion competition. This competition was created to get the schools and students more involved in the Special Olympics. There are over 40,000 athletes across the state of NC that compete on a yearly basis and the money that the Law Enforcement Torch Run raise go to help fund those athletes. Fuquay-Varina High School raised over $500 during this competition and were the number one raising school for 2022. Fuquay-Varina High School was presented with an Olympic Trophy to display in their school until next year's competition when we crown the new winner or maybe they will keep the trophy. Can't wait to see what happens.
Two of our local athletes Dennis Blair and Kelly Dixon who are both gold medalists came to the school to present the trophy to student for their hard work.
