This is Principal Nealy with our Wakelon Weekly Updates!
Kindergarten Information Session: Attention parents of rising Kindergarten Students. We will be hosting a Rising Kindergarten Information Session on Monday, May 12 at 4:30 in our School's Media Center. This is a great time to learn about all of the requirements and expectations for Kindergarten. During this time you will get to meet our Principal, Assistant Principals, Kindergarten Teachers, School Nurse, and Counselor. This is a great time to have all of your questions answered that you are currently pondering. We will also have the members of the Wakelon PTA present to share all of the great things to look forward to. We hope that you will join us.
1st Grade Spring Concert: Our 1st grade students will be performing on Thursday evening. We hope all 1st-grade families will join us at 6:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:45.
Interim Reports: These reports will be sent home with all students on Friday, May 16.
Wakelon ES PTA Board Member Nominations: Nominations are open for PTA officers for the 2025-2026 school year! If you are interested in supporting the Wakelon PTA in a leadership capacity, please complete the form below:
Student Dress Code: Parents, now that the weather is getting warmer, we ask that you please keep in mind the WCPSS Student Dress Code. This policy can be found on the WCPSS home page.
Family Survey: We care about families at Wakelon. Please make time to complete this 2-minute survey to share your experiences.
Counselor Referral Form - Parent Referral: If your child or your family is experiencing a life-changing event or challenge- It might be helpful for your child to speak with a school counselor. If you have a concern that you would like the counselor to discuss with your child, please fill out the Parent Referral Form. When filling out the form, please include as much relevant detail about your concerns and the situation as possible. This helps our school counselors have a better understanding of the circumstances and will help inform their strategies and guidance in order to help your child.
