Happy Sunday, Wakelon Families! This is your Principal, Mrs. Nealy, with your weekly update. I hope that you all had a great weekend and look forward to some additional time together on Monday.  Please do not forget that all schools will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Holiday.   

Parents and guardians, we would greatly appreciate it if you could please check your child’s backpack in the mornings.  We have noticed a few of our students bringing toys to school, which is causing disruptions and distractions.  In addition, some of our students are not bringing in materials that are needed to help them be successful in class.  Materials consist of homework assignments, books, and school supplies.  Thank you so much for your support and partnership!
