Happy Friday, Wakelon Families! This is your Principal, Mrs. Nealy, with your weekly update.  I am sharing our weekly update a little earlier than normal for the week ahead.

Zebulon Tree Lighting This coming Saturday, 5th-grade students will be performing at the Town of Zebulon’s Tree Lighting. We are so excited about this opportunity! The 5th-grade students will meet at 3:30 pm by the Dallas Pearce Realty Building in Zebulon and performance shortly after from 4:00-4:15 pm.  The event features performances, food trucks, free holiday crafts, etc. All 5th grade parents are expected to remain with their students.  Our music teacher Ms. Coco will guide you on where you should sit during the performance.

Parent Conferences We have had many parent conferences and we are grateful to all who were able to attend.  Parents, our teachers have tried to reach out to some of you with many attempts and were not able to leave messages.  Please be sure to update your contact information, both by phone and email. Thank you!

Early Release Attendance Please know that teaching and learning still take place on Early Release days.  We have noticed patterns with some of our students not attending school on ER days.  Our teachers provide instruction on all school days.  Please send your children to school if they are not sick.  Thank you so much!

December PTA Meeting will take place December 12 @5:30 PM (In Media Center or Virtual)

The Candy Man Fundraiser has ended, and all orders have been submitted.  At this time, our PTA is no longer accepting orders.  Thank you so much!
