Weekly Message: November 7, 2022
Happy Sunday, Wakelon Families! This is your Principal, Mrs. Nealy, with your weekly update. I hope that you are having a great weekend, and look forward to the week ahead. This week, we have several noteworthy events.
November 7 is our 3rd-grade ELA celebration. Our 3rd grade is having an EL celebration where parents are invited to come and read with their children. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for all of our 3rd-grade students to engage in their learning with their families. This event will start at 12:00 pm.
The Town of Zebulon has a Mobile Market that will be parked at the Zebulon Community Center located at 301 S Arendell Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597. This event is set to take place on Thursday, November 10th, and Thursday, November 17th from 5:00-7:30 pm. There will be plenty of fresh produce, milk/eggs cheese, and meat. Pay What you Can or Pay it Forward. Please reach out to Wakelon's school social worker Mrs. Cox-Smith if you have any questions.
American Indian Heritage is celebrated throughout the month of November. WCPSS celebrates American Indian Heritage in various ways. This month, our students will engage in learning opportunities that bring awareness to American Indians.
