Weekly Message for March 26, 2019
Hello Wakelon Families! This is Ms. Cooper with the weekly message.
Parent Survey: Parents, WCPSS and Panorama Education have partnered to conduct a Parent Survey. The Survey will give us valuable data on how we can continue to engage parents and the community and improve the ways we engage with parents at Wakelon Elementary. Many of you received an email with the survey link. Please check your email inbox or junk/spam folders for the Survey link. Your child will also be bringing home a form today with the survey link. We hope to have 30% of our families complete the survey. If the school reaches our goal the entire school will receive ice cream! This is your opportunity to let us know how we are doing and what we can improve on so that your child is receiving nothing but the best
Morning Arrival: If you drop your child off after 9:15, you must come inside and sign him/her in. You can not send your child in alone. Students are not allowed to sign themselves into school.
Spring Conferences: Parents you should be receiving information regarding Spring Conferences soon…if you haven’t already. Please make time to come in and meet with your child’s teacher to get an update on his/her academic progress. Call your child’s teacher if you have questions.
Arts In-Action: Fourth Grade Parents you are invited to our Arts In-Action Final Performance on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00. Students may remain after school in preparation for the performance.
Intent To Return: Parents we are in the process of planning for next school year. Yesterday we sent home a form for you to complete regarding your child’s return to Wakelon ES next year. Please complete and send back to us by April 5.
