Summer School 2025
Purpose of Summer School
Our summer school program is for credit recovery only. Credit recovery is a process for recovering a credit for a course that a student has previously failed. Original credit during summer school will be considered ONLY as a means of reaching summer graduation and/or promotion leading into the fall semester.
Summer School Details
Summer School will be from July 7 - August 1, 2025.
Courses available for credit recovery include:

English I - IV,

Intro Math, Foundations of Math 1-3, Math 1 - 4

Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Physics, Earth Science

Civic Literacy, World History, American History, Economics & Personal Finance
Program details include:

WCPSS placement criteria will be followed and this prioritizes students by year of graduation.

Summer school is provided as an in-person program only.

Credit recovery will be through a computer-based platform, not through direct instruction.

The session is 7:30am - 11am

Sessions are either in-person, hybrid, or virtual.

Students are considered "finished" upon completion of their course. The quicker and harder that students work at this program, the quicker they will be finished with summer school. Students are not required to attend beyond finishing their course(s).

Transportation is not provided.

Meal service is not provided.

There is no fee to participate in credit recovery summer school.
Enrollment in Summer School
Students register using this GOOGLE FORM. Students should check their WCPSS email regularly as this will be used to communicate next steps if the student is accepted for placement in summer school.
