Friday Message 12/13/24 From Mr. Morrison
Good Afternoon Holly Springs High School Families, this is your principal Rob Morrison with our weekly message.
NEW THIS MESSAGE
On December 7th 2024, our JV and Varsity cheer teams competed in the North Carolina State Championship. JV won 3rd place in their division out of 8 teams.
Our Varsity team took 1st place and was named NC State Champs in the Small Coed varsity division. Being named State champs 2 years in a row in 2 different divisions is something to be very proud of! These athletes practice a few days a week on top of cheering at football and basketball games. Their perseverance and willingness to learn new stunts that allow them to compete at this level is admirable and should be celebrated!
Our Varsity back-to-back State Champion athletes will be recognized by the Mayor at Town Hall on Tuesday, December 17th at 7pm!
There will be a French Club meeting next Wednesday, December 18th B lunch. All are welcome!
There will be a MANDATORY French Honor Society meeting Thursday, December 19th A lunch.
Dual Enrollment CCP Updates
If your student is participating in the CCP Dual Enrollment for the Spring, please make sure your student has turned in their Dual Enrollment form, their Early Release/Late Arrival form, and a copy of their Wake Tech schedule. All of these forms are located in the email Ms. Jones sent them titled CCP Next Steps.
If your student was admitted to the program but missed self-registration, Wake Tech is opening the Course Request form on Dec. 12th. You can find the form HERE.
