Park Scholarship information meeting for rising seniors will be held May 31 in room 1408 during Lunch.  More information HERE.
HOSA will host their last blood drive for this school year on May 26th, at the Firehouse Subs in Holly Springs from 10:30-3:30. Participants will receive a $70 e-gift card. 
Campbell Health Sciences Discovery Day. Discovery Days is an interactive workshop for rising 9th – 12th graders to explore careers in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, physician assistant practice, physical therapy, and nursing. HSHS Students - Flight Academy is scheduled for August 15th. If you are interested in volunteering there is a required interest meeting on May 31st during A lunch in the media center.  
Choir Basket online sales end May 19th.  Drawing will be 5/21 at the banquet. You do not have to present to win.

HSHS Garden and Car Flag Sales  Support the HSHS Choir Program by purchasing a garden or car flag with the Hawks logo to show your school spirit. 
Interested in learning more about careers in laboratory science and the function of a Public Health Laboratory? The North Carolina State Laboratory of Public Health High School Summer Program may be for you. Students will spend one week at NCSLPH learning about our laboratories that serve the citizens of North Carolina. This free experience will include touring laboratories, meeting scientists, gaining laboratory skills, exploring public health career opportunities and job shadowing. Application/Recommendation deadline: June 6, 2024

Students Interested in Automobiles: Occoneechee Council, BSA just released the flyer and registration link for School Year 2024-2025 Explorer Post 746(9th-10th graders) and Explorer Club 746(7th-8th graders) for young ladies and young men ages 12-16 at Wake Tech Hendrick Center for Automotive Excellence. The First Nighter (Orientation) is Thursday, May 30th at 6:30pm and the program starts on September 12, 2024 with meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursday September 2024-May 2025. They are also still accepting youth in the Carolina Exotic Car Club Explorer Post 25 and Explorer Club 25 for youth ages 13-17 (current 7th - 11th graders).
