Library News:  We have once again changed our “Community Table” project.  For the next couple of months, we will be making cards and writing letters to US veterans participating in what is known as an “Honor Flight”. 

On May 3rd, a group of NC veterans from past wars will be traveling to Washington DC, for their last "mission"... visiting our country's Capitol and the memorials raised in their honor.  

Before these men and women board their flight, they will have a "Mail Call" as they did all those years ago when they were serving our country away from their families. Our students are welcome to take a moment to make a card or write a letter of appreciation made out to "Dear Veteran," and sign in "From a student". These will be added to the mail bag to bring a smile to their faces.
