Principal Mondora's Weekly Message
Good afternoon Mustang families. This is Marla Mondora with our weekly message.
I would like to thank all our families for another wonderful week on The Ranch. I recognize that this has been, for many, a bit of a stressful week and I appreciate all the support the Martin community is providing our students and staff. Teachers and students have remained focused on learning and have been very engaged in their work.
Based on information and direction from Wake County Public Schools, we are suspending all before and after school extra-curricular activities, beginning March 15th. We will communicate any updates to this measure as we receive them.
We are continuing to remind students to wash their hands frequently, especially before eating.
The window to request Single Subject Acceleration is March 23rd through March 27th. The testing window is April 20th through April 30th. Please visit our website and click on the SSA banner for more information. Please contact Ms. Bonham West (rwest2@wcpss.net) if you have any questions.
Eight grade students will continue to register for high school next week. Sixth and 7th grade students will begin registration on Wednesday. For questions, please email your grade level counselor.
In last week’s message, I noted the National PTA Reflection celebration would be on March 28th. We have not received any additional information regarding the event. When we do, we will pass it along.
As a reminder, we ask that students stay home if they have a fever, until they are fever free for 24 hours without medication. Please remember to send in a note when they return to school.
Thank you, again, for supporting the entire Martin community. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday.
