WFHS Principal Update - Week of October 30th

Good evening WFHS Students and Families,

This quarter ends on, Tuesday, October 31st. Please check your student’s grades and encourage them to get all work and assignments in. Report cards will be distributed on November 9th.

Wednesday, November 1st is a scheduled teacher workday so no school for students.

Wake Forest High School Accreditation - This year Wake Forest High School is renewing our accreditation, and part of the renewal process includes asking families to complete a survey about your experiences at Wake Forest High School. We ask that you complete the family survey if you have not had a chance to using the link below.  Thank you for your time and responses.

Picture Day – November 2nd is makeup picture day for underclassmen.

Athletics – The Winter Sports Parent meeting will be held on November 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the gym. Please plan to attend if you have an athlete participating in Winter sports.

Yearbook Information – Senior parents you can celebrate your student’s graduation with a Senior Add in this year’s yearbook. Please see the attached flyer for more information. This flyer was given to seniors early September.

Senior Pictures - "All seniors must select their preferred formal AND casual portraits to be included in the yearbook. Go to and log in using the email the student used when registering at their appointment. Select the formal pose and the casual pose, if you are able. If you cannot select the casual pose, please EMAIL the proof # of the portrait you'd like to use, and it will be selected in the system for you. (Both selections must be vertical (not landscape). Thank you!" December 1st is the deadline for selections.

North Wake College and Career Academy will be visiting WFHS on Tuesday 10/31 during 1st period Cougar Paws (8:20am). Any 9th and 10th grade students that are interested in attending North Wake for the 24-25 school year or just want to hear more information, are welcome to sign up at the link below. linked is their school's website which includes which Wake Tech Community College programs they offer in house.

November 16th Student Services is hosting a 9th-11th grade parent night. (flyer attached)

Just a reminder that the Hoby Leadership application is due to Ms. Pope on Tuesday 10/31 by 2:30pm. This opportunity is for CURRENT 10th grade students only. 10th graders had more information and the application link in their WCPSS email sent from Ms. Pope 2 weeks ago.
