12-3-21 Message from Principal Hamler

WAKE FOREST HIGH SCHOOL

Principal Message

December 3, 2021

Hello, this is Patti Hamler, Principal of Wake Forest High School.

Parents, if your student needs a protective case for his/her Chromebook, please encourage them to stop by the Media Center any time during the school day.  The cases are absolutely free and being provided by the county to any student who needs one.

There will be a virtual parent workshop, “Empowering through Academics” on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5:30-6:30.  Please see this LINK.

Parents, please remind your student the importance of wearing their mask and wearing their mask appropriately. Reminder masks are required – over your nose and under your chin.  Remind them to put their mask back on after they eat their lunch.  Your assistance is appreciated.

Too many students are arriving late to school in the morning, as well as too many students are late to class during the day.  We will continue sweeps next week for tardies to school and to class. Students will be issued detention. There are too many interruptions to instruction.

That’s all for today! Go COUGARS!
