Principal Message

October 1, 2021

Hello, this is Patti Hamler, Principal of Wake Forest High School.

Next week is Spirit Week at Wake Forest High School.  Monday is Decade Day.  Tuesday is College Shirt Day. Wednesday is “On Wednesdays We wear Pink Day”.  Thursday is Hawaiian Shirt Day. Friday is Cougar Pride/School Spirit Day.  Please encourage your student to participate.

Homecoming 2021 will be on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Wakefield High School.  Please join us to celebrate the homecoming court and team.

Reminder:  Students have a responsibility to get to school and class on time. We will continue to do hall sweeps as necessary.

Reminder:  There is no left turn out of carpool onto Rock Springs towards the stadium. If an officer is there, you will be issued a citation.

Parents, please, please stop dropping off students along the side of the road.  Today I witnessed two young ladies run across the street and almost get hit.  These students did not even use the crosswalk. Leaving early is the only solution to carpool.  We have more students being dropped off than in past years.

October is National Bully Prevention Month.  WFHS will have several activities throughout the month.  Please speak to your student about bully prevention.

Student Services now has websites dedicated to grade level information.

Students can now make appointments with their counselor from their phones! If a student needs an appointment with their counselor to talk about personal/social, academic or post high school planning they can now do that without having to come to Student Services to make an appointment.
