Hello Cougar Families! This is Patti Hamler, Principal of Wake Forest High School.

 

ACT test will be administered to ALL juniors on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. More information will be posted next week.

 

Students on Cohort 2/Cohort B will be in person starting Wednesday, February 17 through Friday, February 19. Cohort 3/Cohort C will attend school the week of February 22 and Cohort 1/Cohort A will attend school the week of March 1. The cohort rotations are set by WCPSS through the third quarter, and the calendar can be accessed at this link. The cohort calendar may change for 4th quarter. I will share this information once received.

 

Monday, February 15th is a Calendar-Out day for all students and teachers. There are no classes.

 

Tuesday, February 16th is a Teacher Workday. There are no classes for students.

 

February 24th is an Asynchronous Day for all students. February 23, 2021 is an Asynchronous Day for freshmen, sophomores, and seniors. All juniors will be testing.

 

This is a reminder: please fill out the forms in the links below to help ensure your child has transportation to and from Wake Forest High School. This information must be completed each year for your child to obtain WCPSS transportation.

Parking spaces are still available for Juniors and Seniors on campus. Remaining spaces/decals will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Please email AP, Larry Ferebee at lferebee@wcpss.net with your name, grade, vehicle make, model and color. Students will receive an email with date/time to pick up decal or notification that no spaces remain. Licensed drivers (any grade) who are unable to obtain parking on campus may contact The Southeastern Baptist Seminary at campussecurity@sebts.edu to request a space in the gravel lot adjacent to Wake Forest High School (Rock Springs Rd)

 

Reminder: Currently parking is free for students on campus while attending school under Plan B. Should WCPSS return to Plan A, students may be charged a prorated fee to continue parking on campus. (Determined by WCPSS)

 

Wake Forest High School Athletic Booster Club Information:

 

Athletic Booster Club Meetings: 2nd Wednesday of the month (Unless otherwise posted); 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post #187 - 225 E. Holding Ave.
