Hello, this is Patti Hamler, Principal of Wake Forest High School.

It is here……tomorrow Monday, August 26th is the first day of the 2019-2020 school year. All students will report to homeroom upon arrival. There will be staff members in the halls to assist; as well as posters posted with homeroom information.

 

Bus assignments are available to view on PowerSchool. The routes and assignments are also available on the WCPSS Transportation site. Click on bus routes and scroll down to high schools until you see Wake Forest and click to see the information. You can utilize the “Here Comes the Bus” app for more details.

 

Assistant Principal Davis will be available to assist with transportation questions during lunches.

 

Carpool families this is a reminder that student drop-off is on Rock Springs Road ONLY. Students may not be dropped off in the front of the building nor in the back of the building by the gym. Please follow the traffic patterns. Signs are posted. We anticipate lots of traffic in the morning. Please allow extra time as school begins promptly at 7:20 AM. There is a video online that outlines the traffic pattern for students and parents.

 

A reminder, only juniors and seniors who have purchased lunch passes may leave campus at lunch time. No freshmen or sophomores can leave campus for lunch.
