Updates for this week:
First Tee: The remaining session dates for First Tee are now: April 23rd, April 30th, and May 7th (last session). There will not be any First Tee sessions on April 2nd, April 9th, nor April 16th. Classes will resume on April 23rd.
Spring Pictures: Spring picture dates have been set. These photographs will include both individual and class group pictures. April 24th is the picture date for tracks 2 & 4.
April Celebrations: This week is recognized as National Assistant Principal Week (4/7-4/11). Please join me in celebrating Ms. Lane, our assistant principal. This would be a great time to have your child write a note, draw a picture, make a card, or something else of their choosing to show Ms. Lane how much our school community values and appreciates her.
Field Day: Mark your calendars! Field day will be held on May 2nd for Tracks 1 & 2 and June 6th for Tracks 3 & 4. Note the links to sign up to volunteer below:

Family Academy Session This Week: On Thursday, April 10th from 5:30-6:30 we will host a family engagement session on the topic: Supporting Growth Over Breaks. All are encouraged to come out and learn how you can support your child while they are on breaks from school. We will also have language interpreters on site for select languages.
Panorama Family Survey: Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey from April 7 - May 16. bit.ly/WCPSSFamilySurvey. The link will go live on April 7th.
Staff Appreciation Week PTA Committee: We are thrilled to announce the Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it an unforgettable celebration! Our teachers work tirelessly to educate and inspire our children, and this is our chance to show them just how much we appreciate their dedication.
What We Need?
- Creative Planning: Help brainstorm and organize fun and meaningful activities to honor our teachers.
- Team Spirt: Collaborate with other enthusiastic parents to create a week full of surprises and gratitude.
