Second Grade CogAt/Iowa Testing:

CogAt/Iowa Testing for 2nd Grade:  This year second-grade students in our district will take the Cognitive Abilities test (CogAT).  Second-grade parents should have received a letter from Mrs. Bunn, our AIG teacher.  Historically, this assessment was administered to all third graders, but this process has now changed, and the test will be administered to all second-grade students.  Depending on their performance on the CogAt, students may take the Iowa test next. The testing windows for CogAt are: Track 1:  2/10-2/21, Tracks 2-4:  3/10-3/21

First Tee:  It is now time to register for First Tee afterschool golf program. The spring session dates are 2/19-4/30, with no classes on 4/2, 4/9, 4/16.  See bit.ly/firsttee2024 to register.

Wake County Health and Human Services:  Wake County Health and Human Services offers a variety of programs that can provide assistance to families. Programs and assistance include benefits such as employment assistance, energy assistance, childcare subsidy, food assistance, Medicaid, seasonal programs, transportation, Work First/CCS and other programs. Families can apply for multiple programs with one application: NC ePASS.
