We are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Throughout the month, our Pre-K classrooms will engage in fun activities, including arts and crafts, music and dance, and learning about Hispanic countries.

Our culminating activity will be our “Shoebox Parade” which will be held on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8:30 a.m. Students along with their families will choose a Hispanic country and decorate a shoebox with that country’s colors along with other 3D elements such as figurines, flags, buildings, etc. Students may also dress up in their country’s colors or attire.  More information about this will be sent home later this week.
