Reading Opportunity this Summer
The Durham Bulls have launched Wool E.'s Reading Club, in partnership with Amica Insurance. Available to kids throughout the Triangle, the mission of the program is not only to reward students for making time to read, but also to improve overall literacy in the Triangle. While sports promote health and physical activity through exercise, reading develops the brain, a muscle that also needs exercise. Reading stimulates the mind and allows students to grow in their language skills. This helps them to better listen and engage with peers, educators and the school curriculum. For more information please visit the website: https://www.milb.com/durham/community/reading-club
Students who submit a completed bookmark will receive a complimentary ticket to a 2023 Durham Bulls game thanks to Amica Insurance. Click Here to Enroll.
Glow Dance Celebration
The school will be celebrating our year with a PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) celebration on Wednesday, June 7. Students are encouraged to wear neon or white shirts so they will SHINE and GLOW during the dance celebration which takes place during Specials. The event is for students only!
