Principal's Weekly Message 4-14

Hello this is Kathryn Hutchinson, principal at Centennial Campus Center for Innovation with your weekly message. This message can be found on our website along with our Learning Snapshot.

This past Friday was the first interim checkpoint of this final quarter. Please take some time to review with your student their Powerschools to note their growth this quarter and work with your student to support them with any work to complete.

Our staff shared the Wake County Family Panorama survey this past week in Talking Points. Please take the time to share your feedback to our district on the work and community of Centennial Campus. This survey runs through May 17th. Please clink on this link included or go to bit.ly/WCPSSFamilySurvey

Our final full school dance and social is this Friday from 2:30 to 4:30. All students that have earned the opportunity will receive a permission form to complete this week. All forms must be returned by Thursday. All ticket sales will happen on Wednesday and Thursday morning. NO TICKET SALES or forms will be accepted on Friday. We must ensure we know all students that have permission. Families, be sure to be at our school by 4:30 to pick up your students on Friday. Students must attend a full day of school of Friday in order to attend.

In order to have our dance, we need families to support through helping with ticket sales and working the concessions table at the dance. Please consider signing up here to help us make this event a good time for our students.

Dillard Drive will be hosting a football interest meeting for 7th Grade and 6th Grade Only. The meeting will be on April 26th in the Gym at Dillard Drive from 3pm - 4pm. You MUST have a ride by 4:15pm to be able to attend. Staff will be covering football mini camps, summer workouts, and tryout Information for next year.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where curiosity drives innovation.  Have a great week!
