Principal's Weekly Message 8-21

Hello this is Kathryn Hutchinson, principal at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School with your weekly message. This message can be found on our website. Our Learning Snapshot is now posted for this next week.

All families of seventh graders, please be sure that you have updated your health records with Tdap and Meningococcal required vaccinations provided to Ms. Maynard by Monday. For further information please see this link.

Afterschool clubs are beginning to be shared on our morning announcements. Please be sure to encourage your child to listen carefully for these different opportunities. Students must have permission slips signed by their guardians and returned to the club advisor before they can stay for any afterschool event.

We are excited by the overwhelming energy around our Student Council and look forward to their first meeting this Wednesday the 24th. Remember that your permission form must be returned by Tuesday for your student to attend. Please be sure to pick up your child directly at 3:30.

Also, intramurals are back! There is important paperwork and health forms for your child to provide before they can participate. Students have the opportunity to pick up forms from the Sharpen the Saw boards or Mr. Fulwood. For further information, see our website under Athletics. Remember that intramurals are for all grade levels to participate.

Attention Cheerleaders!  As a student at Centennial Campus Magnet, your seventh and eighth graders are eligible to try out for Dillard Drive Magnet’s cheerleading team.  All paperwork for tryouts can be completed and turned in through Dragonfly and all paperwork is due Sept. 1, 2022.  A mandatory interest meeting will be held on Aug. 30th at 3:15 in the DDMMS library.  Visit www.ddmmscheer.weebly.com for more information including specific information about tryouts.
