Principal's Weekly Message 5-22

Hello this is Kathryn Hutchinson, principal at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School with your weekly message. This message can be found on our website.

As we look to this final week of the school year, we have a great amount of work to do. Our students will be participating in the End of Grade tests. It is critical that you have your student at school on time to join with their peers in their testing sites. Remember that school begins at 7:30 each morning.

Our sixth graders will test on Monday and Tuesday.

Our seventh graders will test on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our eighth graders will test on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We know our students have learned this year and worked hard, we want them to come prepared ready for success, well rested and feeling confident to work hard. Encourage your students to take advantage of breakfast as well.

Also please consider guiding your student to dress in layers as there will be many testing sites throughout the building and weather and temperatures in the building can vary.

If your child misses a day, they will make up their tests on the following days after testing.

Information on their scores will be sent home along with re-administration test information if your child is eligible. We will offer re-administration of all EOG tests on June 1st and 2nd. Please expect a communication on Wednesday for sixth graders and Thursday for seventh and eighth graders about this possible re-administration opportunity.

Yearbook distribution will take place on Thursday.

Our sixth and seventh grade will be hosting awards assemblies on Thursday. Each grade level has communicated directly to families with details.

On Friday, we will honor our eighth graders with their promotion ceremony. We look forward to taking this time to celebrate these students in their completion of middle school.

We also look forward to this very full week and look to our community to support us throughout so we can find a successful end of the school year. Thank you for supporting your own child and helping them to strive for success. We appreciate you all in working together with us.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where we H.O.W.L. with Red Wolf Pride. Have a great week!
