Uniform Expectations

This is just a reminder, we are a uniform school and you can access our dress code policy on our website under students → Student Expectations → Dress Code. All polo’s and oxford shirts will need our WYMLA school logo (crest) on them. The dress code section of our website includes examples of shoes students should wear. Students should be in uniform each day. You can purchase uniform clothing from Flynn O’Hara or buy a school logo patch to add to your uniform items by going to the PTSA Store

We will allow families to pick up free uniform clothing items during the Grade Level Open House window should you need/want them.

Returning Instructional Materials

If you have any materials from last school year please return them to campus on Friday, July 30th at Open House. All WCPSS issued chromebooks should remain with your son unless you are leaving the district. If you are leaving the district you will need to return all electronic devices. Any student with a Hotspot will turn it in ASAP. If materials are not returned, a fee will be added to your son’s account.

Immunizations (7th and 12th Graders)

If you are a parent of a 7th grader or 12th grader during the 2021-2022 school year and you have not turned in your updated immunization records please do so as soon as possible. If you want to verify that we have received your immunization records please contact Ms. Ivory our Data Manager at sivory@wcpss.net.

As always, thank you for your commitment to Wake Young Men’s Leadership Academy, where Scholarship and Service equals Success.
