Garden Club & Botany Students tour the North Carolina Governor's Mansion Gardens

On Thursday, April 26, 2018, students from the Moore Square Garden Club and Botany class toured the gardens at the North Carolina Executive Mansion in Raleigh. They learned of the history of the grounds through the different administrations and how each administration has made additions and enhancements to showcase the beautiful natural plants of North Carolina. The tour showcased plant gifts bestowed to the governorships and the vegetable and fruit trees that provide food for those that live and work in the Mansion.
