FBLA Competes at State Leadership Conference

During our recent track out, the Moore Square Future Business Leaders Association (FBLA) Chapter competed at the State Leadership Conference in Greensboro on March 19-21, 2018. Our chapter competed against other middle school chapters in the state of North Carolina. Since this is the first year of the FBLA chapter at Moore Square, we are proud to report that three students were Top 10 Finalists in their event category; and two students scored high marks in the Digital Media recognition test. Congratulations to all FBLA participants, to the FBLA teacher advisors, Tiffany Somerville and  Jennifer Kicklighter, and to our parent volunteer, Karen. Funding for travel and participation in the FBLA State Leadership Conference was provided by the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant.
