Moore Square Dancers Perform in Raleigh Christmas Parade

On the sunny Saturday morning of November 18, 2017 fourteen Moore Square students joined 85 Wake County elementary, middle, and high school dancers to perform in the Raleigh Christmas Parade. WCPSS senior arts administrator Freddie-Lee Heath, spearheaded the performance and choreographed the dance to an excerpt of "Cool Yule" by Bette Midler. Moore Square dance teacher Nicole Duncan, who taught and practiced the routine with the Moore Square team was on hand to help with the team performance! The dance ensemble, decked out in black tights, burgandy t-shirts and white gloves performed in the "finale" before Santa Claus entered the annual Christmas parade.
