Weekly update 12/1/23

  • Message from our PTSA:

    • Send greetings and gifts to M2 teachers and staff. Contribute to this year's Holiday Gift Crowd - https://app.giftcrowd.com/app/join-event/fC-9QepJRk.  Choose the teachers/staff to donate any amount to by Dec. 14 at midnight.  The receiver will then be alerted to the amount they have received collectively and choose a gift card(s).  It's a great way to gift our staff and easy too! 

 

  • Credit By Demonstrated Mastery (CDM): The application deadline for requesting CDM Testing is December 15. Please review this CDM Parent Presentation if you want to know more about Credit by Demonstrated Mastery. If you have further questions about CDM you can contact Mr. Lesher at kclesher@wcpss.net or WCPSS supports at cdmquestions@wcpss.net.

  • Winter/Spring 2024 AIG Testing Window: If you wish to nominate your child for AIG testing in the areas of Math and/or Reading, please click the link to this AIG Testing Flyer to learn more. Testing will be conducted the week of January 8th. Nominations must be made by December 15th. Questions about AIG Testing, please contact Mr. Lesher at kclesher@wcpss.net.

  • Moore Square MS’s National Junior Honor Society is holding 2 Giving Drives starting Monday, December 4-December 15th. NJHS is partnering with the Raleigh Rescue Mission and Oak City Cares to collect items that are listed below. Please send your child with one or more of these items to our collection boxes in the main lobby upon arrival. Our work supports local charities providing hygiene products and snacks to those individuals impacted with homelessness or financial hardships.
