  • End-of-Grade Testing

Please read through our testing letter sent via text on 5/12/23.

 

  • Lost and Found

All items located in lost and found will be donated on Friday, May 26th. Please have your student check to see if we have found any of their missing items! Located in the hallway between the main lobby and room 1149. 

  

 

  • Mountain Lion Climb

Mark your calendar for our annual orientation day! The Mountain Lion Climb will take place on Thursday, July 20th from 9-11am and 4-6pm. You may attend either session.

 

  • Transportation

In preparation for the 2023-24 school year, Transportation will send a notice to select families on Friday, May 19. This message will start by going to students on all calendars who are currently assigned to transportation for the current school year and who are eligible for next year. It will also go to year-round calendar students who are eligible for transportation next year but not currently assigned. Visit https://www.wcpss.net/busrider for more information.

 

  • Southeast Raleigh YMCA Summer Day Camps

The YMCA of the Triangle is open for Summer Day Camp, and the Southeast Raleigh YMCA is taking all campers entering Kindergarten (ages 4 & 5) to rising 10th grade. They offer a multitude of camps and are looking forward to serving the Moore Square community. Click here to view the flyer. 

 

  • Commute Smart Ambassador Academy

Do you know somebody that is 13 to 15 years old? Are they interested in the environment and transportation? Have them apply for the free week-long Commute Smart Ambassador Academy from July 10 – 14. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and spots are limited to 8 total. Please find more info HERE

 

  • Yearbooks

We are currently sold out, but you can still visit https://www.jostens.com/ to add your name to the waiting list, should any more become available. 

 



  • PTSA needs you! Seeking nominations for 23-24 board

  First VP/ President-Elect

Previous board experience preferred (any school), shadows the current president in preparation for the following year, serves as teacher grant chair (handling reimbursements and orders for materials requested by faculty). If you or someone you know is organized, like connecting with other parents, want to know the staff and administration better, and are eager to volunteer for Moore Square, this role could be a great fit for you.
