  • Spirit Week from Student Council- 

 

  • Southeast Raleigh YMCA Summer Day Camps

The YMCA of the Triangle is open for Summer Day Camp, and the Southeast Raleigh YMCA is taking all campers entering Kindergarten (ages 4 & 5) to rising 10th grade. They offer a multitude of camps and are looking forward to serving the Moore Square community. Click here to view the flyer. 

 

  • Commute Smart Ambassador Academy

Do you know somebody that is 13 to 15 years old? Are they interested in the environment and transportation? Have them apply for the free week-long Commute Smart Ambassador Academy from July 10 – 14. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and spots are limited to 8 total. Please find more info HERE

We are currently sold out, but you can still visit https://www.jostens.com/ to add your name to the waiting list, should any more become available. 

 

  • Registration Verification Forms for 6th and 7th graders

On Monday, April 24th, 6th and 7th-grade students brought home Registration Course Requests forms for you to review. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Estes (jestes2@wcpss.net) or Mr. Wray (mwray@wcpss.net). This is not a schedule! Nor is this guaranteeing placement in an elective.  Students will receive their schedules on July 20th at the Mountain Lion Climb

 

 

  • PTSA Needs You! Seeking Nominations for 23-24 Board

  First VP/ President-Elect

Previous board experience preferred (any school), shadows the current president in preparation for the following year, serves as teacher grant chair (handling reimbursements and orders for materials requested by faculty). If you or someone you know is organized, like connecting with other parents, want to know the staff and administration better, and are eager to volunteer for Moore Square, this role could be a great fit for you! 

VP of Programs

Previous board experience preferred (any school), organizes Cultural Arts program and Spelling & Geography Bee with the help of sub-committee members.

VP of Ways & Means

Previous board experience or fundraising experience preferred (any school), organizes annual fundraiser (most heavily in August/Sept), provides oversight/supervision of ongoing/passive fundraising committees (spirit nights, kickbacks from R City Rocks, etc).
