Weekly Message for 12.20.19

General Announcements

What a wonderful last week of school for 2019! We were treated to both an evening band and orchestra concerts as well as guitar concerts throughout the week. The staff was treated to a holiday treats cart made possible by the generosity of our families. Finally, the students celebrated a quarter of accomplishments with our ROAR Assembly where the 7th grade claimed the Spirit Stick!

Students received their report cards on Friday. If you have not yet seen your student’s report card, be sure to ask for it.

Students will receive a copy of their 2nd semester schedule from their 1st period teachers when we return from break on Friday, January 3rd. If your student has a semester or quarter long elective, staff will be available in the lobby Friday morning to help with new classes. As always, schedules are available on PowerSchool.

Tired of waiting in the carpool line? Wish you had a reserved express spot to pick up your student? We have a a solution for you!! The Moore Square Arts Boosters will be holding a raffle for 2 express passes to bypass the carpool line and enter the Moore Square Parking Lot for the rest of the school year in the morning and afternoon!

Our drawing will happen over winter break. You could be cruising into your special carpool spot in January! The proceeds will be used to send Moore Square students to compete at the national level in June 2020 at the International Thespian Festival in Indiana!

Want to win one of those passes? Raffle tickets are $10 each. You can buy raffle tickets by texting “carpool” to 44-321. Or you can visit mooresquarearts.com/thespian to find out more!

Cast auditions and stage crew applications for the spring theatre arts play, subText, will be the week of January 7th-10th. All forms and information can be found online at MooreSquareTheatreArts.weebly.com.
