Weekly Message for 4.12.19

Happy Spring Showers everyone! We will definitely see May flowers after this weekend. This is a reminder that Moore Square will be closed on Friday.

Dr. Jordan was in Baltimore this past week for the Magnet Schools of America conference where she was presented with our Magnet School of Excellence Award. This award is the highest recognition the organization offers schools and we are thrilled to be back-to-back recipients. It is truly a testament to our staff, students and parents. Thank you for helping us achieve this recognition.

Parents, please remember to take the Panorama School Survey by May 3rd. You received an email with login information a few weeks ago. The results of this survey will help us continue to improve the school-home connection.

Mark your calendars for the EOG/EOC/NCFE’s. We will administer end of year tests beginning Monday, May 13th and run through the end of the year. As your planning appointments, please protect the last two weeks of the school year and plan for your student to be in school every day. While we are on the topic of testing, we are seeking donations of AA batteries, snacks and water. Donations can be dropped off at the front office. Just let Ms. Scott know they are for testing. The tentative schedule for testing is:
