Elective Showcase:  Due to questions about elective classes and requests to communicate directly with teachers, we scheduled an “Elective Showcase” night for students and families to learn more about our elective offerings and meet elective teachers. The showcase will be held on Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the media center. This free-flowing event will allow families to navigate their own needs, at their own pace. We will have a table set up in front of the media for students wishing to change their elective options.  Please understand that this is the last opportunity to discuss changing classes before school begins.  Student schedules will be released Monday, August 5th

Club Application Window is Open:  In preparation for the 2019-20 school year, we are very excited to open the application window for student clubs/organizations at Green Level High School. As a school, we will initiate the founding of the following student clubs/organizations: Student Council, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA-Future Healthcare Professionals, and SkillsUSA. If you have an idea for a different club that you would like to initiate at GLHS, please go to the following link:  https://forms.gle/G2W5eFSY51pA5YEG9 to submit your proposal. All submissions are due by July 19, 2019. Please keep in mind that submitting this form does not automatically guarantee that the club you are proposing will be approved. Given the number of applications we anticipate receiving, the GLHS Student Activities Connectivity Committee will meet to review all proposals and will decide which clubs we are able to approve at this point in the school year. The committee will also assign faculty advisors to approved clubs/organizations. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Carrington at jcarrington@wcpss.net.

Bus Registration:  WCPSS Transportation is currently accepting transportation requests for transportation-eligible students who would like to ride a bus during the upcoming 2019-20 school year. Of the 727-transportation eligible GLHS students, 632 (87%) are already assigned to either a morning or afternoon stop in our routing system (587 are assigned both in the AM and PM).   To ensure that bus transportation is in place on the first day of school, families should complete the registration form  (www.wcpss.net/busrider) by July 28. Requests received after this cutoff date will be processed in the order that they are received.
