Track Assignment Update:  Track assignments are ready!  I would first like to sincerely thank the Alston Ridge community for your patience and understanding during this time.  This process has been extremely informative and essential as we continue to build the best middle school in the state of North Carolina.  Please know how much attention and meticulous effort we took to balance over 900 students on four tracks in an equitable fashion. 85% of families received their first or second choice.  We have been reviewing student data, cross-checking parent requests, reviewing math placement, and communicating with multiple elementary schools to ensure siblings are on the same track.  Please recognize that if a sibling at a year round school is misaligned, it was purely an accident and not intentional. Please just communicate with me and we will work to rectify the situation.  We are excited that this is the first step in building a strong foundation of excellence at our ARMS where all students will thrive. Attendance Notification:  If you are currently assigned to Alston Ridge Middle School for the 2019-20 school year and you know you won’t be attending (moving, transfer, home school, private school, etc) please communicate your intentions with us.  It is important that we have accurate numbers to ensure enrollment and balanced tracks.
