PTA Formation Meeting:  Our first PTA Formation Meeting is scheduled for THIS Tuesday April 9th at 6:30pm in the Mills Park Middle School Media Center.  Please consider joining us for this extremely important event. As we continue to build Alston Ridge Middle School into the best middle school in North Carolina, positive parent support is vital.  We look forward to this strong partnership in supporting all students at the school! The WCPSS PTA Council will lead a parent meeting to help with the formation of our first PTA at Alston Ridge Middle School.  The four main officers will be nominated at the meeting (President, Vice President, Secretary, & Treasurer). Final Bell Schedule:  We are pleased to announce that the Board of Education has approved our 2019-20 school bell schedule.  Alston Ridge Middle students will have classes from 8:15-3:00. The doors will open for students beginning at 7:45am.  More information will sent in the coming months regarding carpool procedures, bus transportation specifics, daily bell schedule, and more!

Electives for Non-WCPSS Students:  While many future Alston Ridge MS students have registered for their electives through the PowerSchools program at their current school, many non-WCPSS have yet to do so.  If you are a family coming from out-of-county, out-of-state, charter school, private school, home school, etc, please use this link to view elective offerings and complete the elective form: Alston Ridge MS Elective Information

Track Assignments Update:  There have been a lot of questions recently about track assignments, track requests, and timelines for notification.  Please know that the ARMS team is diligently working on this right now. We recognize how challenging it is for families to face the unknown when it comes to family planning and future family decisions.  THANK YOU for your patience and flexibility during this process. Final track assignments will be mailed on April 18th. As always, feel free to contact Mr. Williams with any questions or concerns.

Mental Wellness & Social Media:  WCPSS is hosting two discussions for K-12 parents surrounding the topics of mental wellness and social media.  The collaborative discussion will aim to bring parents awareness on these topics as well as providing resources and support.  Dates & locations are: April 9th at Heritage HS and April 11th at Crossroads Flex.
