3/3/19 Parent Message

Parent Information Sessions:  We sincerely thank all parents, families, and community members who attended our Parent Info Sessions the past two weeks.  Every session was well attended with enthusiasm and curiosity!  While there are still some unanswered questions and unknowns around Alston Ridge Middle at this time, we hope this information brought some excitement into our new journey together.  As promised, here is the presentation for your review: Alston Ridge MS Parent Info Session Presentation.  Please continue to communicate with any questions or concerns you may have about Alston Ridge MS.

Track Request Form:  Please note that the track request form will be closed this Friday March 8th.  If you have not done so, please complete the form found on this link: Track Request Form Alston Ridge MS.  We have already started looking at these responses in preparation for final track assignments.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Parent Feedback Form:  During the Parent Information Sessions, there was an opportunity to provide feedback and input on what you’d like to see at Alston Ridge Middle School.  Please consider completing the form and we will certainly share the results in a few week. Use this link: Alston Ridge MS Parent Feedback Form.   We are very interested in the feedback from the parent community in what you’d like to see at Alston Ridge MS and how we can partner to make this the best middle school in the town of Cary!

Save The Date!:  Please add the following date/time to your calendars for our PTA Formation Meeting:

  • Tuesday April 9th at 6:30pm - Mills Park Middle School - Media Center

The WCPSS PTA Council will lead a parent meeting to help with the formation of our first PTA at Alston Ridge Middle School.  The four main officers will be nominated at the meeting (President, Vice President, Secretary, & Treasurer) as this informational meeting will last until 8pm.  We would love a large parent presence at this meeting as the partnership between Alston Ridge and the PTA is vital for our success!
