If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, the 2023 WCPSS CTE Health Science Symposium is an event you don’t want to miss! The 2023 WCPSS CTE Health Science Symposium will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at Wake Technical Community College's (WTCC) Perry Health Sciences Campus from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. Any KHS students wishing to attend must register in person with the Career Development Coordinator (CDC) or the Career Academy Coordinator (CAC) downstairs in Office #613. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A KHS TEACHER WORKDAY AND STUDENTS WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM WTCC Perry Health Sciences Campus from 8:30 am-12:30 pm! Please note that if a student is interested in a health science field career many of them require prerequisite classes that (should be taken in senior year or during the summer) before being accepted in WTCC degree fall program. Many students may have to wait or sit out a semester while trying to obtain these prerequisites for entry.
