East Wake students attend NC Sports Medicine Symposium for Students

Members of the East Wake Sports Medicine Staff, one East Wake graduate, and four additional East Wake students participated in the NC Sports Medicine Symposium for Students July 16-19 at UNC-G.   Randy Pridgen, East Wake's athletic trainer, served as director of the symposium.   Dayna Hartley, East Wake's assistant athletic trainer, served as an instructor to the beginner group.   


LoriAnn Tedder, a former East Wake Warrior, just graduated from Western Carolina University. Tedder recently passed the Board of Certification exam as a certified athletic trainer and served as an assistant to the advanced group. 


The four students who attended were rising seniors Briana Sanchez and Cristan Mullins, rising junior Sierra Frank, and rising sophomore Sade' Robinson.  Sanchez and Frank were selected to work on the sidelines for the East/West All-Star football game at Grimsley High School.
