WHAT: 21st Century After Hours-Warriors Afterhours is a 28-week after-school club/program held during the academic school year. It is the result of a 21st Century Community Learning grant in partnership with the Poe Health Center and East Wake High School, along with three other Wake County high schools. Certified staff are available to assist students in all subject areas.
WHEN: Monday-Thursday, from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. Occasional Saturday enrichment activities will be provided to supplement missing days due to breaks, holidays, etc. Summer enrichment opportunities will be available.
BELIEF: We believe our students will benefit from the extra support the program provides while our certified staff serve as mentors to offer support, enrichment, tutoring and social activities and, of course food.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT: Parents or teachers, we ask that you take advantage of the family engagement activities provided throughout the school year. Either in person or Zoom links will be provided for convenience. Parent support is encouraged.
