This event is a "drop-in" style gathering. It's a chance for you to say hello to your child's teacher, drop off any school supplies you may have, and pick up any information the teacher would like you to take home. Please note, teachers will not be giving formal presentations during this time.

Ask an Educator at Kickoff to Kindergarten
The Kick Off to Kindergarten event at Marbles Kids Museum will be held on June 26 and August 23. The Center Time area, formerly the Discovery Zone, features school readiness play for rising Kindergartners and their families. This is a place where families can experience the value of learning through play. Another feature in this space is Ask an Educator. Kindergarten teachers, principals, and assistant principals are encouraged to sign up to assist in the area and be available to answer questions. Because of the relaxed nature of the area, due to play, valuable conversations arise with our educators. Everything from curriculum to more detailed questions about the day-to-day of how kindergarten works may come up.
