Parkside Families Returning For the 2025–26 School Year - Walker and Carpool Forms
Our walker and carpool forms have been updated for the upcoming school year. If your child will be a walker or car rider, please be sure to complete the new form(s) to ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process.

Field Day
It's the best time of year- Field Day! May 13 for Tracks 1 & 3 and June 3: Field Day - tracks 2, 4. The weather for tomorrow’s field day is not looking promising. If track 1 & 3 field day is canceled, it will be rescheduled to this Friday, May 16.

Track 1 EOG Testing and Family Lunch Visits
End-of-Grade testing is quickly approaching! To help us maintain a quiet and focused environment, we will not be able to host family lunch visits on testing days due to schedule adjustments. For Track 1, the impacted dates are Monday, May 20, and Tuesday, May 21.

Parent Panorama Survey - Last Week to Complete the Survey
Please complete the WCPSS Panorama Survey if you have not already. surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family. Please complete a survey for each of your students at Parkside. We currently have 230 surveys as a school.
Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey through May 16th.
Join Us for Family Fun Night – Friday, May 30!
Unfortunately, the weather caused us to cancel Family Fun Night for a second time. The next date for the event will be May 30.
Mark your calendars! Our Family Fun Night is coming up on Friday, May 30th from 5:30–8:00 PM on the K–2 Playground.
This FREE event will be full of fun for the whole family—featuring inflatables, games, raffles, local vendors, and food trucks! It’s a great way to connect with our Parkside community and enjoy an evening outdoors.
Please note: This is not a drop-off event. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you live nearby, we encourage you to walk—parking will be limited.
