November 7, 2022 - This Week's Schedule and Book Fair!

Greetings Parkside Families – We have arrived at November and a month of gratitude!  I want to sincerely thank all of you for the continued partnership and support of the Sandpiper Staff – they give everything to your students each day and I am so very proud to work with them AND you!

Reminder that the clocks “fall back” by an hour this Sunday! Also, Don’t Forget!:

  • Tuesday, November 8th: No School (Election Day)
  • Thursday, November 10th: Early Release (dismissal at 1:45)
  • Friday, November 11th: No School (Veterans Day)

I also want to share that there is a lot of illness going around the county right now and we continue to emphasize hand washing and other healthy habits at school. Please remember that if your child has any symptoms of illness (headache, cough, runny nose, congestion, fever, etc.) that they should stay home. Note that it isn’t symptoms and a fever – even without a fever, if your student is coughing, runny nose, etc., they need to stay home). If symptoms arise at school we will call you to come and get them. Students then need to stay out 5 days or have a negative covid test (rapid is fine) or alternate diagnosis from a doctor AND symptoms need to have resolved. A negative covid test does not mean they can return with symptoms. Thank you so much for your understanding and helping us keep everyone at Parkside as healthy as possible!
